Hayduke is your most trusted adventure buddy - always ready to roll out into the unknown at a moment's notice. Loaded for the long haul or light and nimble singlespeed missions, this is THE bike for your adventure rides.
Staying true to the versatility you have come to know and the durability you have come to depend on, Hayduke can truly do it all and get you way out into the backcountry and back again on every ride.
All new for this year, Hayduke is more purposefully designed around the 29” wheel platform to help you roll faster and further into the unknown with size specific headtubes and custom tuned tubesets will keep you comfortable on those longer rides.
With the addition of threaded rack mounts, you can now carry even more gear on your backcountry adventures. Of course, you still get the versatility and functionality of threaded cable guides and bolt-on framebag mounting options in addition to the trusted Portage Dropout system for maximum dependability on every ride.
With these new additions to the tried and true, Hayduke has taken back its rightful place as the go-to bikepacking and adventure bike in our lineup. Designed with long distance and hard won backcountry miles in mind, this is the bike we reach for when headed out for days on end. Load up your bags and we’ll see you out there!
Esker is Built for the Backcountry
Durability
We build our steel hardtails from 4130 chromoly for the utmost in durability. Our proprietary quad-butted, seamless tubeset provides a greater strength to weight ratio than other 4130 frames on the market by engineering it specifically for its application while the complete Electrophoretic Deposition (ED) coating of the frame resists corrosion inside and out for an extremely long and worry free life.
Geometry
Esker is known for designing well refined, stable handling, and neutral geometry bikes so that you always feel like you are “at home” as the bike seems to disappear underneath you from mile 2 to mile 92 and beyond. 2023 brings even further refinement with size-specific headtubes and slightly taller seatubes, to refine your fit even further.
Ride Quality
Steel is real - but engineered steel is even real-er. By engineering a frameset that utilizes a proprietary custom drawn externally tapered, seamless, quadruple butted, heat treated 4130 cromoly tubeset that is specific to each frame size, we can build a frame that is strong and durable with a fully tuned ride quality, giving it more compliance and lower weight than steel frames using stock tubing while also increasing torsional rigidity and strength.
